Legacy
Padma Sharma’s journey in Kathak spans over seven decades, blending tradition, mastery, and passion. A graduate of Lucknow University, she earned her Nritya Nipun degree in 1959 from Bhatkhande Sangit Mahavidyalaya.

Lineage
Trained in the classical Lucknow Gharana of Kathak by her mother and Guru, Padma Sharma, Gauri Sharma Tripathi carries forward a rich lineage of the dance form. Her learning has also been enriched by guidance from eminent maestros such as Guru Lacchu Maharaj.
